Crosscut SAWS, Wilderness and Our Public Lands

Show notes

This week we talk with Bill Hodge, the founder and Executive Director of Southern Appalachian Stewards. Bill is a true Wilderness Warrior who started SAWS in 2010 as a program for the Wilderness Society, five years later it became a 501c3 non-profit organization. Today SAWS provides stewardship support for more than sixty protected areas on nine national forests in the Southern Appalachian region, and helps to build the next generation of conservation stewards.
