This week we talk with Jessica Klodnicki. Jessica is the Chief Marketing Officer at Skullcandy, the original lifestyle audio brand at the intersection of music and action sports based in Park City, UT. Her recent focus has been on brand foundational work on the company’s mission, vision, values and culture.
Her interest was first peaked in the sports industry when she interned for the U.S. Olympic Bobsled and Skeleton Team at the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, NY.
She has served on the board of directors of several non-profit organizations in the outdoor space as Founder of Girls Rock, women’s mountain bike organization, Vice Chairman of People for Bikes, and board member of Camber Outdoors (an organization focused on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in the outdoors). She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Park City Chamber and Visitor’s Bureau.
She was recognized as one of “50 Influential Women” in the cycling industry from Bicycle Retailer and Industry News in 2013 and received the “Pioneering Woman Award” for the cycling industry by the Outdoor Industry Women’s Coalition in 2015.
In her free time, Jessica is most passionate about mountain biking and skiing. She has run 7 marathons, done countless triathlons and has recently dabbled in horseback riding, skate skiing and curling…embracing all the activities Utah has to offer.
